NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Our National Conference brings together emerging leaders with Australia's leading policy thinkers and practitioners to think critically about challenges and opportunities facing Australia.

In an increasingly complex international environment, our National Conferences bring together emerging leaders with Australia's leading policy thinkers and practitioners to think critically about the foreign policy, defence and strategic challenges and opportunities facing Australia to consider how we will navigate our future in the 21st century.

Our most recent event was held in Canberra between 14-15 September 2023 at the Australian National University Security College.

The 2023 National Conference included two keynote addresses, three expert panels, three regional breakout sessions hosted by a Canberra-based foreign ambassador, and a range of professional and leadership development workshops. In the evening, we hosted a Gala Dinner to enable delegates to enjoy fine dining while networking with industry industry leaders exploring career pathways in foreign affairs. A range of pre-conference and post-conference sight-seeing opportunities were also included for those looking to explore Canberra's national landmarks. See the 2022 and 2023 Conference Agendas below.

Our next National Conference will be held in 2025.
